Chromie Time: Mists of Pandaria

Updated 2026-09-22 · checked against Midnight 12.1

A hidden continent, a pandaren welcome, and the Sha underneath it all. Wilds of Pandaria is the campaign most often described as paced right: the zone stories tend to finish about when you would have outlevelled them.

How it starts

Chromie gives you Mists of Pandaria: To Pandaria!

  • Alliance hand it to Rell Nightwind in Stormwind Keep, then do The Mission.
  • Horde hand it to General Nazgrim in Grommash Hold, then do All Aboard!

Both land in The Jade Forest, Horde on the north side and Alliance on the south. There is no other starting zone. The “Jade Forest or Krasarang start” some guides describe does not exist: Krasarang is where you walk to next.

Where it takes you

  • The Jade Forest
  • Valley of the Four Winds and Krasarang Wilds, both on foot from the Jade Forest
  • Kun-Lai Summit
  • Townlong Steppes and Dread Wastes

All of them have scaled to your level since patch 7.3.5.

Dungeons you can queue for

While you are in the campaign, the group finder offers this expansion’s dungeons. Raids and Mythic dungeons are off limits until you leave Chromie Time, and some Heroics refuse entry below a set level.

What carries across your account

Nothing we can source. No Pandaria reputation is in the announced warband-wide batches.

What this campaign puts in reach

Counting…

Counts are a floor, not a total. The expansion is not recorded for every collectible, and many source lines name a boss without a zone. "Missing" uses what you have ticked on the mounts, pets and toys pages, in this browser.

Where the sources disagree

  • How far Chromie Time goes. Everyone agrees you can start a campaign up to about level 68–69. Whether you then stay scaled to 80 or are moved on at 70 is disputed: the wiki says 80, two levelling guides say 70, and there is no Blizzard patch note either way.
