AION 2 Blacksmithing recipes

Blacksmithing makes the metal weapons: swords, greatswords, daggers, maces and the guards Templars carry. That makes it the weapon profession for four of the eight classes — Templar, Gladiator, Assassin and Cleric. It has 104 recipes across both factions.

It also makes its own materials: Orichalcum Ingots from ore, and the refined Balaur horn that the top-tier weapons need, which is made from Balaur’s Essence plus the profession’s own hammer.

The weapon ladder

Every weapon slot climbs the same three steps:

1. Direct craft — the True and Star Dragon Lord tiers, gated at Professional proficiency.
2. Transfer — the White/Dark and Wise/Ebony tiers. A transfer consumes an Artisan’s Splendent piece from the tier below plus materials, and needs no proficiency.
3. Splendent — an upgrade of the piece you already have, paid in materials. The recipe lists only the materials, but it is the plain piece that becomes Splendent.

The practical consequence: the proficiency grind only gates the first rung. Once a crafter has made the direct-craft piece, the rest of the ladder is materials.

Every recipe

Each line is the proficiency the recipe needs, then its materials. Both factions’ recipes are listed and tagged — the two sides’ versions of a recipe often differ in name and materials, so filter to your own faction rather than assuming the other side’s line applies.
