AION 2 Hidden Cubes — where they are and what's inside
Updated 2026-10-10 · checked against Global launch (client 2.0.5.0)
Hidden Cubes are the small treasure cubes tucked away across the open world, some of them under water. Walk up and press F to open one. They don’t always sit in the same place, which is why they are easy to miss.

How they work
- Each cube has several possible spots. Every Hidden Cube appears at one of between 5 and 30 places. The region maps on this site mark all of them, so if a cube isn’t at the first spot you try, it’s at another one nearby.
- You can open one without a key. A Key: Hidden Cube opens it with a better reward: the key’s own description says boosting the cube’s energy “will yield more valuable rewards”. Without a key you still get something, and opening one keyless earns a title (below).
- They come in kinds. There are ground cubes and water cubes, and graded ones (Rare, Unique and Epic) as well as the plain kind.
- Elyos and Asmodian regions have their own cubes. Verteron and Eltnen for Elyos, Altgard and Morheim for Asmodians. None in Poeta, Ishalgen or the Abyss.
Where they are
Pick Show the cubes to open that region’s map with the Hidden Cube layer on. The yellow squares are every spot a cube can appear; zoom in and tap one for which cube it is and how many spots it has.

What comes out of them
These are the items the game itself lists as coming from Hidden Cubes. The game does not publish the odds, so this page shows what can drop, not how often. Each item’s page has its other sources too.
