AION 2 collections
Updated 2026-10-09 · checked against Global launch (client 2.0.5.0)
Most MMOs keep collections and power apart. AION 2 does not. Titles, wings and pets all carry an owned effect — a bonus that applies for having the thing in your collection, whether or not you are using it — and titles and wings add an equipped effect on top for the one you have on. The collection screen is a stat sheet as much as a trophy cabinet. That is the thread through this whole hub.
Wings
There are 40 wings across five grades. Every pair with stats has an Equipped Effect for the pair you wear and an Owned Effect that counts for every pair you own — flight power on every one, plus a combat stat or two. Wings cannot be enhanced yet, so for now collecting more pairs is how you raise flight power; when they can, the Owned Effect is what enhancement to +10 will raise. The fifteen Special wings are appearance only, including the Blazing Sun wings from the Ultimate Founder’s Pack. None is locked to a faction.

Pets
Any monster in AION 2 can become a pet. You unlock one by defeating that monster repeatedly and collecting its souls, and levelling it is the same loop. Some pets can also be bought or come as rewards. Pets do two jobs at once: they serve as mounts (C by default), and at their maximum level each one adds its owned effect to every character on your account on that server. They don’t pick up loot by default (that is F), but a 30-day Pet: Auto-Loot Voucher from the Wind Breeze Merchants turns pet Auto-Loot on — and that shop needs an active Special Quai Membership, the monthly sub.
Pets fall into five species — Cogni, Fera, Natura, Varian and Special — and once a pet is maxed, Genus Insight opens per species: crystals of that species’ colour and Kina fill a set of effect slots, rolled at random, with the option to lock a good roll at a rising cost. Rainbow crystals work for any species; save them for Special pets, whose own crystals are the hardest to farm.
On the Korean service pets go to level 5. Global pets stop at level 3.

Skins and the Style Shop
Armour and weapon skins change your look, and they also count toward a skin collection: every slot (each weapon type, each armour piece, necklace and earring) has its own track, and every Collection Point on it adds +0.1% to that slot’s damage or defence, up to 500 points. You earn the points the first time you get each skin. A handful of skins also carry PvP stats of their own. The Style Shop is the player-made side of looks: players register character appearances there for others to download, and earn a share of revenue from the styles they register.

Founder’s Pack exclusives
The three Founder’s Packs (sold once per account, before launch) carried items that are not on the regular path:
| Item | Type | Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Vanguard of Atreia | Title (unique grade) | Standard and above |
| Ascended Daeva | Armour skin | Deluxe and above |
| Eternal Sun | Weapon skin | Deluxe and above |
| Moonlit Aria | Armour skin | Ultimate |
| Black Dragon | Pet | Ultimate |
| Blazing Sun | Wings | Ultimate |
Since the 7 October patch, Founder’s Pack items work on every character on every server, not only the one that claimed them. Each character gets a free Founder’s Pack shop that hands out the items of your pack’s tier that you do not already own, at no cost. Items you already own are not given again, and NC says the shop stays open until a closure notice. A skin taken twice through that shop does not count against the purchase limit on paid skins.
Titles and achievements
Titles are the biggest collection with stats attached. Most titles grant an owned stat that stacks with every other title you hold, plus a larger stat while the title sits in one of your three slots — so a few hundred easy titles add up to real combat power.

Achievements are the other long list, at several hundred.
Our read
Because titles and pets pay out for being owned, the collector and the min-maxer want the same thing in AION 2, and that changes what “worth farming” means. A mediocre pet you will never ride still adds its effect once it is maxed. The practical order is the one the systems imply: max the pets you meet while levelling, because their souls drop from things you are killing anyway (and drop less often once you out-level the monster and its name turns grey), and come back for Genus Insight once there is Kina to spare.
